HOW AND WHEN A CONTRALTO IS FORMED
This voice has its own characteristics of formation. Most often, it can be determined after 14 or 18 years. The female voice of the contralto is mainly formed of 2 children: low alt, which from an early age has a pronounced chest register or soprano with an inexpressive timbre. Usually by the transitional age, the first voice acquires a beautiful low sound with a velvety chest register, and the second unexpectedly expands the range for everyone and starts to sound beautiful after adolescence. Such a situation often occurs: a girl with an inexpressive 1 soprano is told that she has a weak voice and she should not professionally engage in vocals.
