Extraordinary musical abilities

The presence of musical memory, musical ear, possession of a sense of rhythm, emotional susceptibility to music are called musical abilities. Almost all people to one degree or another have all these gifts from nature and, if desired, can develop them. Outstanding musical abilities are much less common. The phenomenon of exceptional musical talents can be attributed to such a “set” of mental properties of an artistic personality: absolute hearing, phenomenal musical memory, outstanding ability to learn, creative talent. HIGHER MANIFESTATIONS OF MUSICITY The Russian musician K.K. From childhood, Sarajeva discovered a unique ear for music. For Sarajev, all living things and inanimate objects sounded in certain musical tones. For example, one of the artists familiar to Konstantin Konstantinovich was for him: D Sharp Major, moreover, having an orange tint. Sarajev argued that in the octave he clearly distinguishes between 112 sharps and 112 flats of each tone. Among all musical instruments K. Saradzhev singled out bells. The brilliant musician has created a musical catalog of sound spectra of bells of Moscow belfries and more than 100 interesting compositions of playing bells. F. Liszt, S.V. Rachmaninov, D. Enescu and other brilliant musicians had a phenomenal memory: they could, looking into the musical text, without a tool remember a musical work with fantastic speed and accuracy. F. Liszt played from the sheet, as M.I. Glinka, several numbers from his manuscript score of the opera Ruslan and Lyudmila, preserving all the notes – to the surprise of the audience (Glinka’s writing was very illegible). Extraordinary musical intuition helped F. Liszt. Once, at the request of M. Ravel, before the picky music publisher D. Enescu brilliantly played by heart Ravel’s new violin sonata. He first saw her text half an hour before execution. I.S. Bach, W. Mozart remembered the most complicated orchestral works, having heard them only once. The rarest musical memory was possessed by world-famous performers: I. Hoffman, S. Feinberg. L. Oborin, S. Richter, D. Oistrakh, which helped them to have a huge concert repertoire. A companion of musical giftedness is the gift of virtuoso playing musical instruments. The highest technique of mastering the instrument, giving unlimited freedom to performing movements, for a musical genius, first of all, is a means of allowing him to reveal the content of music deeply and with inspiration. S. Richter plays “The Game of Water” by M. Ravel An example of extraordinary musical abilities is the phenomenon of improvisation on given topics, when a musician creates a musical work, without preliminary preparation, in the process of its performance. CHILDREN – MUSICIANS A distinctive feature of unusual musical abilities is their early manifestation. Gifted children are distinguished by durable and quick memorization of music, a penchant for musical writing. Children with musical talent, by the age of two purely intonate, and by the age of 4-5 they learn to read sheet music freely and reproduce the musical text in an expressive and meaningful way. Child prodigies are a miracle inexplicable while a science. It happens that artistry and technical perfection, the maturity of the performance of young musicians is better than the game of adults. V. Mozart from the age of 4 began to play the clavier and violin, composed music. From the age of 6 he gave concerts in Europe, at which he performed his own and other people’s works, read from a sheet with extraordinary ease, and improvised on given topics. F. Liszt from early childhood surprised the audience with a virtuoso piano playing. Now throughout the world there is a flowering of children’s creativity and there are many geeks today. An 11-year-old girl – vocalist from Moscow V. Oganesyan sings complex opera arias. From the age of 4, the young Russian pianist V. Kutuzova has been performing on stage, the violinist from Berlin A. Kamara began playing the violin from 2 years old. Young conductor from Uzbekistan Eduard Yudenich took the stage at the age of 6 to lead a symphony orchestra. He began playing the violin at the age of three, then mastered the piano. Having a phenomenal musical memory, the boy knows by heart the scores of all the works he is conducting. Seven years old, he conducted an orchestra that performed Liszt’s orchestra poem “Preludes”. F. Liszt “Preludes” – conducted by Eduard Yudenich Author
